Science in the Pub w/ eyrelab

Come down to Kangaroo Island Brewery for an evening of presentations about ecotourism around regional South Australia!

Join us for an engaging presentation by special guest Manny Katz - an ecotourism industry veteran and director of Eyrelab.

We'll explore how tourism, particularly the ecotourism industry centred around the Giant Australian Cuttlefish, serves as a powerful tool for science communication, community engagement, and seasonal economic stability. Discover the unique behaviour of these fascinating marine creatures, and learn how their popularity has been leveraged to enhance public understanding and support for marine conservation. This event will provide insights into the effectiveness of using tourism to foster environmental awareness and stewardship, with real-world examples from around the Eyre Peninsula.
